Education for All Essay Education is the topmost priority of the government of Pakistan Awami Tehreek. The literacy rate will be raised through adult education movement and by imparting formal and informal education within a period of 10 years through a great educational revolution. The first priority of the manifesto of Pakistan Awami Tehreek is education for all (EFA). The literacy rate will be raised up to 90% in the next 10 years. The educational system from the initial stage to the level of university will be changed in the next 10 years by enforcing the modern and developed educational system. In keeping with the new educational policy the teachers will be trained in order to enhance their competence to meet the demands of new trends in education. The educational activities based upon thinking and understanding will be started systematically from early education and primary level. The basic knowledge of ideology of Pakistan and Islamic studies will be incorporated in the curriculum at every level. The educational institutions and curriculum will be purged of every kind of sectarian, regional, linguistic and sectional biases and hatred. For the effective implementation of educational reforms educational devolution scheme will be enforced in the department of education. Efforts made for the spread of education in the private sector will be encouraged at every level. Information technology will be promoted at economic, educational and industrial levels. The proposed reforms will also be implemented in the seminaries to integrate them in the national mainstream. Respect for human rights, rule of law and philanthropist behaviour will be made part of the curriculum of every level. Primary education confirmation card (PECC) for children will be issued throughout the country. The number of the students will not be allowed to exceed by 30. For this purpose the double shift system will be started in the schools so that the students are able to get maximum individual attention of the teachers. A special educational fund will be set up for the higher education of the helpless and needy students. Traders, industrialists, rich citizens and people with good economic standing will contribute to this fund on the basis of proportion of their income. Our government will impose educational emergency throughout country to achieve 90% literacy rate under 10-year educational plan. According to this plan, new educational institutions of every level will come into being and double shift system will be introduced in the existing schools. Thus the number of educational institutions will double through the introduction of this system. George Orwell once said, ââ¬Å"Political languageââ¬â with variations this is true of all political parties, from Conservatives to Anarchistsââ¬âis designed to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable, and to give an appearance of solidity to pure wind.â⬠In todayââ¬â¢s modern society, the world is continuing to become smaller and more interconnected than ever before due to media networks such as Cable News Network (CNN) providing round-the-clock news coverage and the Internet. In the last few decades, both information sources have been instrumental in helping to expose individuals all over the world to new ideas and diverse cultures. However, with this great opportunity to expand oneââ¬â¢s knowledge and understanding of humanity, also brings to light other individuals or groups adverse and often dangerous ideologies as well. Philip Seib contends in his book, The Al Jazeera Effect,that ââ¬Å"terrorist organizations such as Al Qaeda have made good use of new media, taking advantage of satellite television news channelsââ¬â¢ hunger for content and using it to disseminate propaganda, display hostages, gain exposure, and on a grander scale, they count on the media to help spread terrorâ⬠(pg. 3). Terrorists are unconventional in their approach to battle and operate with the belief that violence is a worthy cause in order to depose any organization or government that does not share their beliefs. Due to terrorist groups ability to use television and the Internet ââ¬Å"to proselytize, recruit, train, and dispatch orders to their followers, governmentsââ¬âespecially those that protect free speechââ¬âhave been at a loss as to how to deal with the use of mass communication for such evil purposesâ⬠(pg. 3). The Internet and Terrorism In Gabriel Weimannââ¬â¢s article, ââ¬Å"How Modern Terrorism Uses the Internetâ⬠in the United States Institute for Peace Special Report, he states that, the Internet is in many ways an almost perfect embodiment of the democratic ideals of free speech and open communication; it is a marketplace of ideas unlike any that has existed before. Unfortunately, the freedom offered by the Internet is vulnerable to abuse from groups that, paradoxically, are themselves often hostile to uncensored thought and expression. Ironically, the same decentralized network of communication that the U.S. security forces created out of fear of the Soviet Union now serves the interests of the greatest foe of the Westââ¬â¢s security services since the end of the Cold War: international terror (pg. 2).

Thesis Statement Should teachers have the authority to remove a disruptive student form their classroom permanently? Teachers work really hard to promote a happy, healthy, and safe learning environment for all of their students. Teachers dedicate themselves, with sacrifice and determination to ensure that their students have the tools they need to learn and to promote the grown of learning for each individual. Most students in each classroom work hard and dedicate themselves throughout the school year to learn.This includes studying day, and night, attending school regularly, obtaining good grades, and behaving according to the best of their ability. If there is a student who is disruptive, it would not only effect the disruptive student, but it puts a hold on the learning lesson for every student. That is very unfortunate because some students really want to learn. Having a disruptive student makes is difficult for a teacher to teach and it only takes one or two disruptive students to completely corrupt an entire lesson plan.Teachers do not have enough time as it is to cram all this information in by the end of one school year to have to waste their time dealing with disruptive students. Teachers should have the authority to remove disruptive students from their classroom permanently. This does not only take time from school for the teacher, but it also takes a lot of time from home because there might not be enough time in the day for the teacher to complete the lesson plan so they may have to take the work home. The classroom is a place for quiet learning, and respect for others right to learn. If you have a student who is being disrespectful who has gotten away with being disrespectful, it would be very hard to change it all around.You, as a teacher has to let them know whom it is that is actually in charge. There are strategies that you may want to take to try and assist you in this situation. Try calling home. When you call home and ask to speak to their parents, and even calling home perhaps while standing in front of the misbehaved student, may help to get them to change their attitude for that day, and give them the opportunity to accept how they have been behaving. It may also help out by being an example or the other students, so they can behave accordingly as well.Since students are disruptive, (on account to behavior issues mostly), and still you know that some of those students may even have potential aside to their behavioral issues, you may try to even reason with them. Sometimes, trying to have an open mind about what is really causing the student to misbehave may help the situation. Most of the time disruptive students bring so much of themselves to the classroom, because it may be an attention call for inner help.Try to listen to them and see what it is that makes them ââ¬Å"themâ⬠, what it is that makes them think, and finding out their interest. By learning and understanding what it is that gives them motivation, could allow you to shape their learning experience, and support how they think, so they too can grow with the classroom. For a student to behave disruptive in a classroom, not only is it extremely time consuming for the teacher, and not only does it make learning difficult for the other students, but it can also be dangerous if it gets too out of control.If you as a teacher had already tried making the phone calls home, tried having that one on one with the student, and tried leveling with the students to the best of your ability using all of the resources that you know, ask yourself, could removing this student from my classroom permanently, help me to provide that environment that I have envisioned for my students? At any job, who would want to look forward to returning to a daily, out of control negative environment that removes most of your focus allowing you to do your very best? Not only does it affect the misbehaved student, and the classroom but it puts a toll on the teacher as well, the next step would be to have the student removed from the classroom.It is unfortunate because youââ¬â¢ve tried your best in trying to help out the situation within the classroom, you must figure out what other options are left for you to take now. It seems like the only other option would be removing the disruptive student from your class because you have tried your best at everything else, and nothing seems to work. You may have the authority to remove that student from your classroom for the period, the day, or even a few days. If that does not seem to work, you may even have the authority (with a few steps) to have the child removed to another classroom or even another school.I know it would not be something that you might be looking forward to doing, bu t you also have to consider the welfare of the other students, as well. How Diversity Is Addressed Within My Current Work Environment
This paper will explore the how diversity is addressed within my current work environment. For the past 21 years, I have been a Behavioral Health Assistance Service Director of a private, non-profit organization that provides community support services to children and adults in Pennsylvania with mental illness, intellectual disabilities, and autism. Our agencyââ¬â¢s mission statement expresses our commitment to ââ¬Å"enhancing the quality of life and personal growth of those we serve through support for individual choice and independenceâ⬠along with embracing the philosophy that each individual has the ability to succeed in life, through personal empowerment with dignity and respect. At the end of the study, some recommendations are provided for future benefit of the company. Culture and Management Responsibility Suzuki is a multinational company in Japan. It has spread its business in different countries in the world like, India, UK America and in many other countries. As it is a multinational company, the working culture of the company is also multi-cultured. Due to this, sometimes, several problems take place within the organization and main problem in multi-cultured working environment is the conflicts between the employees of different culture (Suzuki.hu 2016). During 2011 and 2012, labor dispute happened in Suzuki; however, the management played a vital role in solving the labor dispute problem within the organization. The management of Suzuki is much responsible in solving the problems of its employees. The top management of the company is responsible for preparing and implementing the overall policies and strategies of the company (Morris-Suzuki 2015). There is labor union within Suzuki and the management of the company takes special care of the demand of the union so that no conflict takes place between the management and the union. As per the management of the company, the people or the employees at Suzuki are very co-operative and they believe in team work. In order to maintain the work quality, the management has taken several strategies like, bonus, incentive scheme and contests. The management of Suzuki has disclosed that in recent survey, they have identified that most of the employees in the company are satisfied with the working culture of the company (Globalsuzuki.com 2016). The management of the company is much friendly with its employees and it helps to maintain the relationship with the employees. Along with this, the management also involves the employees of all levels in the decision-making process of the company. Global Corporate Social Responsibility Morris-Suzuki (2015) stated that, in case of corporate social responsibility, Suzuki, Japan has taken several initiatives to maintain its social standard. The management of the company has focused primarily of four different areas skill development, employee engagement, community development and road safety. The safe driving theme, taken by Suzuki, was one of the main and very effective corporate social activities done by this company. The company provided long training to the employees to achieve the main motto of safe driving or road safety. It has established several training institute to train the employees as well as common people in safe driving. IT has trained total 700000 people through these training institutes (Suzukimotorcycle.co.in 2016). At the same time, the company has taken several strategies to improving the social condition of the people or the communities. The management has contributed towards the education of the children in the developing countries like, India and Pakistan. At the same time, the company has established a large number of driving schools, where the people from the middle class income group in the society can learn about driving. This ultimately helped the people to improve their standards in the society. These types of activities of the company helped to improve the skills of its employees. The special training program arranged by the company trained the employees in better way and helped them to improve their skills (Japantoday.com 2016). Apart from all of these activities, the company has also concentrated on energy savings in all units of its production. Energy saving strategy of the company also helped it to maintain the environmental level or standard within and outside the workplace. Apart from these, the management of the company has implemented the environment friendly technology at its workplace and along with this; it has also produced sustainable products as per the demand of the customers. Multi-National Competitive Advantage As a multi-national brand, Suzuki has to face aggressive competition in the market. In order to sustain in the market and achieve the competitive advantage, the company has specially focused on the innovative marketing strategies. For example, the most innovative strategy is the multi segmentation strategy of the Suzuki, which helped the company to target different people from different social classes (Hbr.org 2016). At the same time, it has also taken innovative promotional strategies and one of the most attractive promotional strategies taken by the organization is One Rupee Vehicle Insurance strategy taken by the company in India. Along with this, the company has also contributed in different game shows and reality shows in Japan. Apart from the innovative marketing and promotional strategies, the company has also focused on the distribution channels to gain the competitive advantage in the international market. It has initiated unique distribution network and concentrated on the team work. In has developed several workshops and distribution stations, so that the customers get more facilities and the company can provide best service to the customers (Suzuki.hu 2016). As per the current information, the production and operational process at Suzuki is following the JIT and Lean management approach, which are the most effective elements in achieving the competitive advantage in the global market. Conclusion and Recommendation In this study, it has identified that Suzuki has a multi-cultured working environment at its workplace. The management of the company is much friendly and effective in solving the problems of the employees. At the same time, they have concentrated on enhancing the work quality of the employees. The company has taken several corporate social activities and contributed towards the development of communities and its employees. The company has also focused on its marketing, promotional, distributional and production strategies to gain competitive advantage in the market. However, it can improve its performance by following the below recommendations: The management at Suzuki can apply the 360 degree feedback strategy to improve the working standard of the employees in a better way. It helps to understand the individual working standard of the employees.
